About the event

This specially designed programme explores the holistic approach in practising and living with scoliosis through an inquiry-based somatic approach. The key to this approach is on EMPOWERMENT, where the practice emphasises on inviting and involving one's full participation in the process of learning, healing and growth. This is about being kind in adapting and re-patterning for longevity, with guidance and support.   There are 10 MODULES within this programme. Each module presents a topic of study and practice, which is carefully organised to provide a reliable foundation in managing the condition from a mind-body perspective. It is built to support a sustainable long view on living with scoliosis. The programme offers educational learning for understanding, experiential practices for embodiment, and opportunity to connect with others sharing the same interest.

Adelene will be personally teaching these Live Online Modules, where you are welcome to participate in the comfort of your home. There will be opportunity for Q&A discussions in each session.   Serving both personal and professional development needs, this programme is intended to inspire and compliment other modalities such as pilates, physiotherapy, bodywork and massage, osteopathy, and more. Suitable for beginners to yoga and experienced practitioners. Please contact Adelene in advance if you have any concern about your participation.   Each Module may be taken individually in any order, or as part of the full programme. The format is designed with the intention to offer a flexible and accessible approach, with respect to your pace of learning and space for embodiment. Recording of the session will be made available for 30 days after each workshop. This is an integrated programme where the primary focus is on empowerment in supporting the process for self healing, personal growth and freedom. May this be an invitation to renew your relationship with scoliosis.   A letter of attendance can be provided upon request after completion of each module, while you will need to complete all modules to attain a Certificate of Completion for the Programme. It is recommended to attend at least 5 modules from this Yoga for Scoliosis Programme Online to fully benefit from the Yoga for Scoliosis Fundamental Intensive (30 hour).  Below YouTube are Taster & Info Sessions (75-90 mins) with a short practice with Adelene. You will receive video to Scoliosis Self-Assessment Inquiry (25 mins) upon registration to one or more modules.
