Live Conversation #1 RACE TO RELAXATION

www.adelenecheong.com We recognise that this is an uncertain time for all of us. Our fast-paced society is being asked to slow down, and more than ever, reconsider Rest as an essential part of living and in navigating the unknown. Restorative yoga is a relaxation practice to support Conscious Deep Rest. The intention of this practice is manyfold. * to relieve chronic stress and reduce the effects of stress-related diseases * to provide an environment for healing and rejuvenation * to restore balance within the healthy function of our bodily systems, especially the nervous system * to #takerefuge during times when we face fear, uncertainties, and doubts * to navigate our emotional and mental health And so, as Mother Earth heals and repairs herself, we invite our community and those beyond to use this time to do the same. Join us tomorrow at 2.30pm as we go LIVE ON CAMPUS with Yoga with Adelene Cheong to investigate this Race to Relaxation being called upon us. Adelene will offer a short talk about the importance of Rest and Relaxation, and some simple home-based Rest practices to support and navigate the physical, mental, and emotional experiences during these turbulent times. WHY LIVE? We want to offer a space of support whereby viewers can interact with the teacher, as you would in a live class setting, and get real-time feedback. We encourage a Live Q&A format whereby Adelene will be happy to answer questions for teachers and practitioners. Feel free to post them on this discussion board beforehand, or on the video comments section on the day.
